Exit DIY WRAPPING SHEET MUSIC Wrapping up a token for a music lover? Try using vintage sheet music in place of traditional paper and embellishing it with a little bell or a guitar pick. These pages are also great to line envelopes for your holiday cards. Just trace the shape of the flap onto the paper, cut it out and stick with doublesided tape. Other bold options: Old maps, foreign-language books and antique cookbooks. YARN Wrap colorful yarn several times around your gift, taping it securely on the bottom. Then wrap a contrasting color across the package in the other direction, weaving it over and under the first piece of yarn to create a pretty basket effect. This looks intricate, but it only takes minutes, we promise. PAINT CHIPS Most of us have a few paint chips leftover from our last home improvement project, and these are perfect to add a splash of color to a simply wrapped gift. To create a fabulous paint chip bow, just bend the strips in half, forming loops, and tape the ends to the center of the gift in a radiating circle. Alternate and overlap with additional loops, trimming the ends shorter as you get to the center.
