circumstances—and when asked how he
would react to a daughter getting pregnant
through rape, Tom Smith said he had “lived
something similar to that” in his family. He
went on to clarify that his daughter, who had a baby outside of marriage, was not raped.
“But, well, put yourself in a father’s position,” he said. “Yes, I mean, it is similar.”
