Our Awards & Achievements
Since 2001 we have taught more than
2000 children and adults, aged between
12 months and 90 years, to speak and
write Mandarin Chinese.
We are a vibrant and diverse
community. We have bright and
well-motivated students, taught by
highly qualified, committed staff, in
partnership with parents. We try to
provide every student with cultural,
spiritual resources.
We are an Ofsted registered and
accredited school providing high
quality courses for our students.
We run a wide range of Mandarin
Chinese courses, from toddler through
to GCSE, A Level and classes for adults.
We are based in the following London
locations: Golders Green, Hampstead
and Mill Hill.
We run tailor-made 1:1 individual
learning, after school clubs in primary
and secondary schools, cultural
workshops for local councils and schools,
and also design corporate training to
suit specific needs of each company.

We have a team of 14 dedicated and
highly skilled teachers who speak

which everyone can work comfortably
and has clear expectations of behaviour
that fosters good relationships and
supports learning. Our students have
obtained excellent result from their
Chinese GCSE and A- Level Exams, we
have had a 100% success rate with our
students maintaining A* grades in the
past few years.
We achieved the Gold Award from
the National Resource Centre for
Supplementary Education in 2013
and the Bronze Award in 2009. This
honour confirms that Hua Hsia Chinese
School has well-established systems
in place to ensure consistent good
quality practices. We are a registered
Asset Languages Centre. This ensures
that our qualifications are accredited
and our students’ achievements are
recognised. In 2012, Hua Hsia Chinese

between Chinese and Western
