WELCOME MESSAGE School Head Office 98 The Broadway, London, NW7 3TB Welcome to the Hua Hsia Chinese School! Thank you for reading. I hope you will spend some time browsing the brochure to get a feel for who we are and what we do. Telephone +44 0(20) 8201 0698 When I started the school in 2001, my aim was to create a friendly and supportive teaching environment in which children could begin to learn Mandarin. Now, more than a decade later, I’m filled with pride at how the Hua Hsia Chinese School has grown and developed. I’m very proud of our fantastic team of dedicated and highly skilled teachers who speak Mandarin as a first language. Finally, I’m also very honoured to have met all our wonderful students – past and present. It is such a pleasure to watch their progress and to share their achievements. I think this comes across very clearly in the BBC2 documentary ‘Meet Britain’s Chinese Tiger Mums’ which we were delighted to participate in, along with some of our students and families. We believe that learning Mandarin should be fun. That’s why as well as offering a wide range of classes for all ages, we take time to explore China’s fascinating history and culture. Visitors are always welcome at Hua Hsia Chinese School; do come to visit us, either on our open days or by appointment with our school secretary. In the meantime, this brochure and our website will page give you more information about the school and the range of classes we offer. [email protected] I look forward to meeting you.
