This City & Guilds Assured Legionella course focuses on how to control Legionella within evaporative cooling systems. The course has been developed to ensure that you understand the unique risks posed by an evaporative cooling system and how to successfully control the proliferation of Legionella. Throughout this course you will go through the relevant statutory legislation, be shown the areas of high risk within wet cooling system designs and the subsequent disinfection, maintenance and record keeping. Upon completing this course, you will be able to effectively manage evaporative cooling systems in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice( ACOP) L8 and guidance document HSG274 Part 1, reducing the risk of Legionella within your facility.
