CLUB AND LEAGUE NEWS SINCE WE WERE LAST HERE NEWS ROUND-UP TWO IN ONE OUT It is with some regret that we have to announce the departure of striker Neil Harvey, who, on Thursday 20th March, terminated his contract with the club by mutual agreement. Neil has been a fine player for the Pitmen in his two seasons at the club and was a key member of the promotion team. Changes in personal circumstances have made it difficult for ‘Harvs’ to commit to travelling to train etc. and it was felt that this was the most amicable solution for both parties. Neil goes with our very best wishes for the future and our thanks for his contribution and some great memories. As one player moves on, Rob Smith has moved quickly to secure a replacement and just ahead of the home game against Workington AFC we were able to register former Port Vale striker Danny Glover as a Pitman. Danny started the season at Worcester City FC and then moved to Bradford Park Avenue but was recently released as a result of budget restrictions. The striker went onto make his debut against Workington, setting up Jamey Osborne for his first goal of the afternoon. We were also pleased to confirm the loan signing of winger Marvin Johnson from Kidderminster Harriers in the build-up to our game against Stockport County last weekend. The former Romulus man has netted eight goals in 76 Conference Premier games for Harriers since his move to Aggborough in January 2012. HEAR IT. SEE IT. REPORT IT. They are narrated by former England stars, Graeme Le Saux and Dion Dublin. FA board member and chair of Inclusion Advisory Board, Heather Rabbatts, said: “We know under-reporting of discrimination of in the game is an issue, therefore instilling confidence is key. The FA and the Inclusion Advisory Board has worked with stakeholders across the game in developing these films which hope to convey how easy it is
