Commercially Speaking with Scott Smith
Good evening and it’s a ‘warm’ welcome to
Keys Park for tonight’s important Skrill North
clash against Brackley Town. This has all the
hallmarks of another exciting evening under the
lights with both sides needing the points in
order to keep up their hopes of achieving a top
five place come the end of the season.
As we enter this
final month of
the season, we
have just three
home games left,
starting
with
tonight’s clash.
I’m pleased to
say that all of
these
have
match sponsors
booked
into
them and I must
also say a big
‘thank you’ from
me
for
the
support you’ve
shown over the
course of the
campaign, I look
forward to this
continuing
for
many years to
come.
I’m also really
pleased
to
announce
that
we’ve
got
mascots for our
final
two
Saturday home
games. This is
really important in my eyes as it helps to create
fans of the future and gives young children a
day that they will hopefully remember forever as
they get the chance to lead out their team here
at Keys Park.

For example, the start of March saw Dan Crane
and I attending Cannock Chase High School for
National Literacy Day. Dan was there in order to
read stories to some of the younger students on
this special day. It was great to see pupils
asking questions about not only Dan but also
Hednesford Town and it is these kinds of events
which could really help the Club progress in the
local community. So if you have any special
events coming up then please get in touch.
