SCOUTING REPORT
THE MANAGER - JON BRADY
Jon joined Brackley from Kettering Town in January 2009 where he had played since
2007. He was appointed Manager in April 2009. In his first full season in charge he
assembled a squad that reached the Southern League Premier Division Play Offs, the
highest ever League finish by the club. A playing career that took in both League and
Senior Non-League clubs saw him win four major honours. The Conference title twice
(Rushden & Diamonds and Chester City). The Conference North title (Kettering Town),
the Conference South title (Hayes) and of course last season’s Southern League Premier
title. A very experienced Manager who is now working towards his Pro Licence.
THE KEY MEN
STEFAN MOORE
Forward
Striker who signed from Leamington in January 2014. Started his career at Aston Villa
where he captained the side who beat Everton in the Final of the FA Youth Cup in 2003.
Made 22 appearances for Villa in the Premiership before spending loan spells at
Chesterfield (2), Milwall (6) and Leicester (7). Then transferred to QPR where he made 39
appearances. Was then loaned out to Port Vale (12) before joining Walsall (5) and then
Kidderminster Harriers (14). Moved into non- league with Halesowen where he scored a
remarkable 39 goals in 44 games. He then beat that ratio by scoring 96 goals in 86
games for St Neots Town as they moved through the Leagues. Helped Leamington into
the Conference last season.
DAVE BRIDGES
Midfield
Midfielder signed from Bury Town at the end of December. In two spells with Cambridge
United he made 111 appearances before moving on to Braintree (4), Histon (11),
Kettering (58 in two spells), Stevenage (62, who he helped win the Conference National)
and then Chelmsford City (28) last season. Played for England ‘C’ against Italy in 2006.
BILLY TURLEY
Goalkeeper
Very experienced keeper who joined the club in July 2010 from Oxford United for whom
he made over 150 appearances. Previous League experience with Northampton Town
(28) and Rushden & Diamonds (215). Has now notched up over 100 appearances.
