SUPPORTERS ASSOCIATION
Good afternoon and welcome back to Keys Park
for today’s clash against Gainsborough Trinity.
With this being our first league game of March we
really are in the final furlong when it comes to
hopefully taking a place in that all important top
five of the Skrill North. There has certainly been
some good debate about the merits of potentially
being promoted come the end of the season, but
as supporters we must always be looking for our
Club to achieve its best at all times, without
endangering future stability.
We should all be extremely delighted though with
how the season has panned out, we haven’t been
outside the top five all campaign, were able to
reach the First Round of the FA Cup and have
witnessed some great games of football. Yet it
seems at times some supporters are quick to
forget this. I’m sure we’d have all taken this
position at the start of the season and we need to
remember that back in August 2013 we were very
much embarking upon a new challenge in a higher
division!
Bearing this in mind, it was disappointing to hear
some negative comments towards certain players
in the last two home games. Okay, perhaps
performances haven’t been up to what we had
witnessed earlier in the campaign but negativity
doesn’t help anyone. We are all here to do one
thing and that is support the team. Yes it can be
frustrating at times and I’m sure we’ve all said
things in the hea Ё
