Tony McMillan. Goalkeeper. Born in Wigan, Tony had spells with both Preston and Wigan Athletic as a youngster before beginning his non league career with Runcorn FC Halton. Andy Burns. Defender. Born in Liverpool, Andy began his career with Bolton Wanderers before being released in the summer of 2011 when he joined Bradford City. In the summer of 2012 when he joined another League Two side Dagenham & Redbridge. He had a spell on loan with Bishop’s Stortford, then in Skrill Conference North in late 2012. He was released by the Daggers in the summer of 2013 and signed for Barrow at the start of August. He made his debut on the opening day of the season against Brackley Town. Paul Edwards Defender. Born in Manchester, Paul began his career with Crewe Alexandra but was released without making a first team appearance. He had brief spells with Ashton United and Curzon Ashton before joining Doncaster Rovers for whom he made his League debut at 16 years of age. Paul missed the 2012-13 season thought injury and rejoined the club in August 2013. Robbie Williams. Defender. Born in Blackpool, Robbie began his career with the Lytham Football Academy and played for Blackpool Wren Rovers as well as Lancashire Colleges' under-18 team. He was also an England Colleges' under-18s trialist before he joined Welsh club TNS's scholarship programme in 2005 Danny O’Donnell. Defender. Born in Liverpool, Danny began his career with the Liverpool Academy and graduated through to senior football in 2005. He joined Crewe Alexandra on loan at the start of the 2006-07 playing twenty five times and scoring once. Richard Davies. Midfield. Born in Willenhall, Richard began his career as a youngster with Walsall. He had a spell on loan with Solihull Moors in December 2009 before being released in the summer of 2010 when he joined AFC Telford United. He spent the following season on loan with Chasetown in the Evo-stik Northern Premier League before setting in to playing for the Telford first team in the 2011-12 season. After missing the latter part of last season through injury he was released and joined Barrow in June 2013. He is the brother of Mark Davies of Bolton Wanderers. He made his debut on the opening day of the season against Brackley Town. Alex-Ray Harvey. Midfield. Born in Burnley, Alex joined Burnley’s Centre of Excellence as a youngster and earned his first professional contract in the summer of 2009. He has played regularly for the reserves since. He was released by Burnley in May 2012 and joined Barrow permanently in August 2012. Sam Sheridan Midfield. Born in Trafford Sam came up through the ranks at Bolton Wanderers and had a short spell on loan with Altrincham in September 2009. He was released by Wanderers in the summer of 2011 and joined Stockport County. He was a regular for the Hatters in his first season although he did have a spell on loan at then League rivals Southport. He was released by County in the summer of 2013 and joined Barrow in August 2013. He made his debut as a substitute in the second game of the season at Altrincham. Greg Mills. Winger. Born in Leicester, Greg came through the ranks at Derby County to earn a full time deal in 2009 and went on to make two first team appearances for the rams. He also had spells on loan with Solihull Moors in Conference North, Macclesfield Town in League Two and AFC Telford United in Conference North. Jamie Allen. Striker. Jamie is a product of the youth system at Fleetwood Town and having worked his way through the reserve team made a scoring debut in the first team as a substitute in the League Two game at Northampton Town in early 2013. He made a total of four League appearances before the end of the season. He joined Barrow on a loan until January 2014 in late August and made his debut as a substitute in the game at Bradford Park Avenue. Dale Johnson. Striker. Born in Ashton, Dale played his early football with Abbey Hey and Woodley Sports before joining Hyde United in February 2004.
