An ongoing commitment to exemplary standards of
safety is illustrated by the annual review and signing of the
Group Occupational Health, Safety and Wellbeing Policy by
the Group President. This commitment is further
underlined by the Group President’s signature
on the Group Safety Statement, which
underpins the importance of safety in the
workplace. These documents are displayed
in all CHEP UK and Ireland facilities, in both
offices and service centres.
The practical application of these
documents then devolves to the annual
setting of general bonusable health and
safety objectives for each region and each
person. These ensure that the Zero Harm
journey continues in a positive way. Hugh assists
with the setting up of these annual objectives.
