to organisations who have received 5 to 9 consecutive Gold Awards and is succeeded by The President’s Awards for receipt of 1014 consecutive Gold Awards. This award is an important milestone on the journey to achieving the Order of Distinction. The Industry Sector Awards were introduced in 1993 and are presented annually for the most outstanding performance in health and safety by a company or organisation within a particular industry or sector. To be eligible, organisations must hold a minimum of 4 years of consistently excellent or continually improving health and safety performance. Each award is an engraved trophy to be held permanently by the winning organisation. 2014 winners include: Chemical Industry - Gulf Petrochemical; Commercial and Business Services - Home Retail Group, Argos and Homebase Stores; Construction and Commercial – Morrison Utility Services; Construction and Engineering – Magnox Limited.
