A new two-day summer event at Donington Park is another key date in the HSCC schedule and will be a great weekend of racing on this excellent track in the East Midlands .
Headline races include Thundersports , Aurora Trophy / Geoff Lees Trophy and the Dunlop Saloon Car Cup .
Historic Formula Ford 2000 , Historic Formula Ford , Classic Formula Ford , Historic Formula 3 , Guards Trophy , Historic Road Sports , 70s Road Sports and Historic Touring Cars maintain the quality of the programme .
Saturday / Sunday / Monday 28-30 August : Oulton Park International
The Oulton Gold Cup is a traditional highlight of the HSCC racing season and typically draws a bumper crowd to the wonderful Cheshire parkland track .
After a full day of qualifying on Saturday , racing starts at mid-day on Sunday ( due to local noise restrictions ) and there is more qualifying and racing on Bank Holiday Monday .
On the programme will be Aurora Trophy / Geoff Lees Trophy , Dunlop Saloon Car Cup , Guards Trophy , Formula Junior , Historic Road Sports , 70s Road Sports , Historic Touring Cars , Classic Formula 3 / Classic Formula Ford 2000 , Historic Formula 3 , Historic Formula Ford , Classic Formula Ford and the guesting Heritage Formula Ford .
Friday 9 July : Brands Hatch Indy
Saturday / Sunday 10 / 11 July : Brands Hatch Grand Prix The Legends of Brands Super Prix weekend has a fresh format for 2021 with three days of top quality historic racing covering both the Indy and Grand Prix circuits at the famous Kent track .
Friday ’ s programme will take place on the Indy circuit before the action switches to the sensational Grand Prix circuit for Saturday and Sunday . Provisionally , Friday ’ s schedule is for five test sessions for weekend competitors before six qualifying sessions and six races through the afternoon .
The six races set for Friday afternoon on the Indy circuit are Thundersports , Historic Formula Ford , Classic Formula Ford , Historic Formula 3 , Historic Formula Ford 2000 and Champion of Brands Formula Ford . With the exception of Champion of Brands FF , all those classes then switch to the Grand Prix circuit for another qualifying session and a second race on Saturday .
On the GP circuit on Saturday and Sunday will be races for Guards Trophy , Historic Road Sports , 70s Road Sports , Historic Touring Cars , Formula Junior , Classic Formula 3 / Classic Formula Ford 2000 and Aurora Trophy / Geoff Lees Trophy .
Significant guests will be racers from the Historic Grand Prix Cars Association , with one qualifying session and three races on Saturday and Sunday for a fabulous array of pre ’ 66 Grand Prix cars . In addition , guests from the French-based HVM organisation will be invited to join the grids for Historic Formula Ford , Classic Formula Ford , Classic Formula 3 , Guards Trophy and Thundersports .
Saturday / Sunday 18 / 19 September : Mallory Park
After a gap of around a decade , the HSCC will return to Mallory Park for a two-day event in September . This will be a weekend in the best tradition of club racing and promises two full days of action at the Leicestershire track .
The programme will include Historic Formula 3 , Historic Road Sports , 70s Road Sports , Historic Touring Cars , Classic Formula Ford 2000 , Historic Formula Ford 2000 , Classic Clubmans , Historic Formula Ford , Classic Formula Ford , 80s Production Saloons and GT and the guesting Sprite / Midget Challenge .
Saturday / Sunday 16 / 17 October : Silverstone National
The main HSCC season will once more conclude with the Championship Finals meeting on the Silverstone National circuit , with two busy days of racing .
