70s Road Sports
The 2021 season cannot come soon enough . The 70s social media is buzzing with activity : cars being prepared and advice offered readily , all interspersed with the usual light banter .
Will Leverett is being encouraged back to the grid , Morgan Sparrow moving up from the Invitation Class , Julian Barter is returning with a fully refreshed TVR , new cars and competitors including a novice in his teens are all looking forward to getting on track .
In these challenging times , being part of the HSCC community with competitors who offer each other friendship and support there is so much to be optimistic about .

Historic Formula 2
I do look forward to hearing the raucous cacophony of Formula 2 and Atlantic engines warming up , shattering the early morning peace of the paddock ! However , I am a realist , most of the time , so given the current COVID situation I cannot be too optimistic about an on-time start for our 2021 racing season . I am hopeful and sure that we will go racing again , but when ?
When we do re-start , and we will , I look forward to meeting everyone in the F2 fraternity and once more enjoying the camaraderie and shared passion for these fantastic cars . It can ’ t come soon enough ! Roger Bevan
Historic Touring Cars
Following the 2020 half season we are looking forward to a full programme of races in 2021 . Peter Hore has stood down as HRSR chairman and Historic Touring Car representative on the HSCC committee and we are indebted to Peter for all the hard work he has put in with the club during his period of chairmanship . Imp racer and twice champion , Steve Platts , has taken over from Peter in both capacities .
We are looking to widen the range of cars eligible to race in HTC and will add to the list of eligible cars prior to the start of the season . We hope that COVID restrictions will be eased as the season progresses and the HTC easy-up and tea urn can be de-mothballed .

Classic Formula Ford
The Classic FF1600 Championship has a slightly expanded calendar with eight double-header races at HSCC events including a return to Mallory Park and a first ever visit to the Silverstone Finals .
We expect most of our front runners to return this season although Cameron Jackson will not be featuring in Class A and have heard of a few possible newcomers also . We have established a new Classic FF1600 Facebook group this winter which now has almost 450 members and hopefully the interest generated online will also be seen in the paddock when we are able to meet up again .
