WHAT IT DOESN’T TAKE TO BE HUMAN
Walking through the New York City streets, people rush
by in suits, dresses, casual clothing, or no clothing at all.
All trying to do something, go somewhere and become

watches while some are lucky to collect five dollars at
the train station. I’m sorry, homeless man; you deserve
a name more than a low title. And I apologize for the
name-calling of kids who are too innocent and immature
to know you aren’t dirty, you just have no money to

along the platform as he ignores your presence on the
ground, and continues to make it worse by stepping
on the only garments you own, without apologizing or
having any pity at all. Why do people have to be so cruel?

of us, but throughout all of time, people never seem to
change. We’re all human; don’t ruin that, too. No need
for competition, envy or immaturity; take pleasure in life
and be happy.
Feeling the cool air touching your soft

allow your lungs to taste the mintiness of the trees, you
wait in line trying to enjoy the time of day to climb
mountains with your closest friends. The lady at the
front of the line wears a black dress with yellow flow \
