EMELY ALONZO 10th GRADE HUMMING HELPS YOU THINK Dear Emely Aracely Alonso Alonzo, I know you have forgotten almost everything. But this letter will help, hopefully. Oh, note that I wrote our full name at the top just to make sure you know it. Ok—well we, or you, whichever you want, are very complex. I or you, I am just going to stick with you because it is easier. You have a weird sense of humor. I don’t understand it, so I don’t know how to explain it to you. You laugh at a lot of things and you find a lot of things funny. Sorry if this is not helping you, but I am pretty sure it is, because I’m you. You like writing when it doesn’t involve school or work. You are a lefty and you know how to write cursive. You have a negative mind. People describe you as smart, caring, funny, confident, talented, happy, outgoing, energetic, adorable (but tough and mean when you have to be), sweet but deadly, conceited (but your heart keeps it in check), and a lifetime The Wanted lover. You stare at a specific place when you are deep in thought and you hum because it helps you think. You love to raise an eyebrow when you are confused, and sometimes just for fun. You love some country music because it calms you. You don’t care what people think about you. Oh, and you don’t listen to what people tell you to do most of the time. Your nationality is Ecuadorian but you consider yourself an American only. You also speak, write and read Spanish. You have two siblings and two parents, like almost every human in this world. Your brothers’ names are Edgar and Adrian. Edgar is probably 22 and Adrian HPAC Young Writers Review is probably 19 right now. They annoy you to no end. Sometimes you just want to kill them. Adrian is probably a sophomore in Holy Cross. Edgar is also probably working his little butt off. Edgar is the shorter one and he is dark skinned, too. He is your older brother. He is more carefree. He is very sensitive. Adrian is strict and tells everyone what to do. You can make your own memories with them. Your Father’s name is Peter. He spoils you to no end because you are the only girl in his life. You call him, “Dad” or “Daddy.” You only call him “Father” when you are in a fancy place. He always takes your side, and you take his. He is never mean to you and always jokes with you. Your Mom’s name is Dysney. Your relationship with her is different. She does not spoil you. She likes your strict brother better. You only go to her when you want something. Otherwise you don’t even talk to her. She takes care of you, and you love her for that, but you and her really don’t talk a lot like you and your Dad. You have three best friends. Two of them are girls and o
