Refinements all around , then prototypes : Prototypes are built and verified against the CAD before tooling and fabrication , including quality control and refinement of resin colors , paint colors , and materials properties . System integration prototypes are built to evaluate first tooled parts .
6 . Design released when quality standards met : The latest Dragonfly adopted a 3:2 display , with a taller screen that enables multitasking with less scrolling and allows for a roomier touch pad . Its keys are quieter and larger , too , and the edge of the palm rest is rounded for comfier typing . For videoconferencing , HP also equipped the G3 with separate RGB and IR webcams for improved image quality , as opposed to older 2-in-1 cams .
