Getting to Know Silhouette Studio
Silhouette Studio isn’t a particularly tricky design software to get your
head around, but there can be a learning curve for beginners.
The best way to get over that is simply to get in there and take a look
around.Open up the software via your desktop and you’ll find yourself
greeted by a blank page.
This page represents your 12 x 12 inches cutting mat and will be your
canvas for your designs.
If you want to change the page dimensions for whatever reason, you can
adjust these via the Page Settings ribbon, which is running down the
right hand side of the screen. This will be useful when you want to create
longer designs or use an extended cutting mat, for instance.
