I guess it ’ s obvious but the biggest surfaces of any home are walls , floors , ceilings and window coverings . These are the things people notice first ( because they are so obvious ) and the easiest to change .
I bought my home a year before I decided to conduct my test . I bought at what I consider was the absolute peak of the market . Properties coming onto the market only lasted a week or two before they were snapped up . My house was only ten years old but the carpet was a cheap nylon faded blue color and the walls were similar .
