8. Leadership Styles: 1. Situational Leadership (Hersey and Blanchard) The Situational Leadership Model developed by Hersey and Blanchard addresses four types of leadership styles, based on the follower: Your leadership style is how you behave when you are trying to influence the performance of others. It is the way you supervise or work with someone. There are four leadership styles (but there is no one best leadership style): 1.
