Symptoms of ADHD can include being inattentive (unable to concentrate for very
long or to finish a task), hyperactivity (fidgety and unable to sit still), and impulsive
(speaking without thinking about the consequences)22.
The quality of the supply chain is absolutely critical and there are several examples of
imported versions of this sleep disorder treatment not being to an adequate quality.
Note this guidance from the MHRA: “There is at least one pharmaceutical immediate
release product available within Europe; however, other unlicensed sleep disorder
treatments are frequently notified for import. These products may be classified as
supplements, not pharmaceuticals in their country of origin and may not be made
under pharmaceutical Good Manufacturing Practices. They should therefore only be
used as a last resort. Importers must ensure customers are advised accordingly”23.
