how did the plain indians solve the problems of living on the plains?

When the Native Americans began to live on the Plains, they realised they had many problems to deal with. Everything was basic. There was no internet or any books to learn from. Everybody started from scratch. These early settlers and homesteaders faced huge problems, and the burdens of many of these fell on the Native Americans to deal with, whose lives were now burdensome and unpleasant. The problems they began to find in everything was affecting them, both big and small. The only resolution was to solve them.

The Plain Indians were people who had to survive under harsh living conditions. They were faced with many problems and challenges, yet they survived for hundreds of years. Each tribe was accustomed to different methods of survival; some were nomads and some were settled in a certain place, but they all had similar attributes on how to survive.

PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS:

1. The Native American Indians' main source of food was hunting. The native children were trained early on how to hunt and how to use hunting methods like the Bison-Pound method or just simply stalking. In the plains, mammals such as Elk and other types of Antelope were common. The problem that the Native Americans were faced with was that they were in danger of hunting too much wildlife. They solved this problem by being cautious of how much they hunted and kept it under control by not wasting any of the hunted animal’s resources.
