Increase Your Sales Today!

As I mentioned back in July, Jay Rose, President, Global Training Solutions would be in town to conduct sales training and to get your existing staff and new staff ready before tax season occurs. Well training day is here! In less than two weeks [Monday October 12] Jay will be conducting a full 1-day hands-on training session at Manheim Hobby that should increase your unit sales per month by 1-5 per sales person.

Let’s forget Jay has over 25 years of experience in the auto industry with Sales, BDC, F&I, etc., and that he has trained over 1,000 dealerships, and spoken at 20+ state and national conventions. Let’s forget that Q4 is typically one of the slowest quarters of the year and now is the best time to train and practice the skills over and over again. However remember whether you are behind or ahead year to date the New Year and new tax season is coming. Wouldn’t you want your staff to be at the top their game when the champagne quits flowing and tax money is coming in the door?

If you could move that 10 units per month sales person to 12 units per month what would that be worth to you? A BHPH gross is around $4,600 so those 2 extra units would bring in an additional $9,200 per month so a little over $110,000 for the year. You probably have 2-3 sales reps on the payroll. If you are a HIADA member your cost for those 3 reps to attend is $250 to make approximately a quarter of a million. That quarter of million is just year one, how about repeat customers and referrals what value is that for your dealership?

Remember whatever training occurs on the 12th needs to be practiced on a regular basis for success to occur so you the dealer should also take the time to hear and to review the material with your staff. There are over 1,000 dealerships in the Greater Houston area. Take the time to make your staff one of the best.
