We are pleased to welcome new members Mark Rodriguez of Gulf Coast Used Cars and Sonora Rodriguez of Texas 1 Auto Finance. Congratulations to our board members for an outstanding job recruiting new dealers. HIADA strives to help dealers grow, bringing vital information to enhance their business'.
From July 23rd through 25th I had the pleasure of attending the TIADA Annual Expo and Conference at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort in San Antonio. There were almost 300 dealers in attendance along with almost 100 vendors representing finance companies, floor plan companies, web based companies, among others. It was the best TIADA Conference that I have attended and I returned to work with fresh ideas to implement at my dealership. The conference was filled with numerous classes dealing with special finance, buy-here-pay-here, compliance and technology. If you missed this conference I highly recommend attending the 2018 TIADA conference.
Mark your calendars for August 8th. HIADA will be hosting an underwriting panel consisting of several prominent buy-here-pay-here dealers in Houston. Somir Paul of Woodlands Financial Service Inc. will moderate. The panel will cover topics and questions presented by Mr. Paul. RSVP HERE!
On August 10th HIADA will be launching a new auction lane hosted by Texas Hobby Auto Auction. They have provided premier numbers to ensure dealers a better opportunity to sell their vehicles.
