Houston Independent Automobile Dealers Association August Issue: Increasing Sales | Page 15

Example; if you’re at 8 units now, where would you like to be in 2 years? If you said 28, that’s great! To sell 20 more a month, you just need to raise your average 10 units per year. That’s just an .83 increase per month, and I guarantee that with an initial education

you can skip the first year and jump from 8 to 18 overnight by applying what you learn.

So what holds people back? A few things; arrogance, ego, and fear, but one of the biggest challenges I faced, that you will, too, is getting around the peer pressure at work and in your life that stands between you and your goals.

They are not going to help you. In fact, they will do whatever they can to keep you from improving. So ignore them and realize you’re going to work to reach your goals, not theirs.

Just set your goals, get your education now & long-term, develop your plans, and just go-to-work-to-work every day.

If you do what I’ve covered, “A couple hundred grand a year is in your future!” Just go for it – and don’t look back.
