Cooler temperatures and football make a Texas fall pretty fabulous! Houston Dentistry is pleased to present The Texas Center for Occlusal Studies (TXCOS) as this issue’s cover feature. The Center is a state of the art teaching facility for extended dental education, founded by Dr. Hal Stewart, Daniel O’Rourke, CDT and Dr. Craig Herre. TXCOS is dedicated to educating the dentist and the dental lab technician on how to accurately and predictably diagnose and treat occlusal disease in a minimally invasive manner. The 2017 One Year Occlusion Residency training is divided into six sessions with the first session beginning January 5-7. Check out TXCOS’ goals and objectives. This program might be just what you need to invigorate your practice! As a complement to our cover feature, Smiles in the Spotlight presents a case by The Texas Center for Occlusal Studies. The Minimally Invasive Full Mouth Reju- venation case represents a new standard of care with results that are both functional and esthetic. Ray Bryant Touching on just a few examples of the compelling editorial included in this issue – Practice Marketing discusses ways to protect your patient population; Real Estate Update explores using demographics to choose the right practice location and Practice Management maps out a strategy as you plan for your retirement.
