Collin College Student Housing
Collin College Student Housing is a 128-unit
apartment complex located at 5800 Jupiter Road,
Plano, Texas, 75074, and is the only residential
facility located on any Collin College campus. Collin
College Student Housing is located on the west side
of the Plano Campus, and is owned and operated by
Collin College under the rules and regulations of
community college dormitories in Texas. For more

Eligibility
Housing
Requirements
for
Student
In order to be eligible to live in Collin College
Student Housing, applicants must meet the
following requirements.
Background Check
A student applying to live in Collin College Student
Housing must permit Collin College to obtain
criminal history information. Collin College will
obtain criminal history information available to the
public. An applicant with a pending charge or
conviction for a felony, Class A misdemeanor
(other than a minor traffic offense), and/or a Class
B misdemeanor (other than a minor traffic offense)
less than 10 years old may have his or her housing
application declined.
Should a student resident be charged with a
criminal offense during the course of a semester for
which the student resident would have had his or
her housing application denied, the student
resident will not be eligible to remain in Collin
College Student Housing.

Compliance with Collin College’s Resident Life
Handbook, Student Handbook, and Student Code
of Conduct
All student residents are expected to abide by
Collin College’s policies and procedures, as stated
in the current Resident Life Handbook, Student
Handbook, and Student Code of Conduct. Failure to
comply with Collin College policies and procedures
may result in revocation of the student resident’s
eligibility to reside in Collin College Student
Housing and will lead to disciplinary action
through the Dean of Students Office, in accordance
with the current Student Code of Conduct.
Disciplinary Penalties and Sanctions
All required Resident Life or Dean of Students
Office fines, penalties, and sanctions from any prior
disciplinary incident(s) must be fulfilled. Eligibility
to live in Collin College Student Housing may be
revoked if a student resident is found in violation
of the Student Code of Conduct.
Financial Obligations
Applicants and student residents must pay all
charges due to Collin College. Financial obligations
must be paid in full by all due dates in order to live
in student housing. Student residents who have an
outstanding balance older than five (5) days will be
removed from student housing.
Full-time Student Status
As stated in the Collin College Student Housing
Lease Agreement, student residents living in Collin
College Student Housing must enroll for a
minimum of 12 credit hours and remain enrolled in
12 credit hours for the duration of each fall and
spring semester. Enrollment in a minimum of three
(3) credit hours for summer classes is required.
Failure to attend classes may be grounds for loss of
student housing privileges.
