Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City
Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City. An English speaking
local guide will meet you at your hotel for an
orientation, explaining all about Vietnam, the
best places to exchange money, recommended
places to eat, to shop and explore. A short walk
will show you the layout of the city as well as a
chance to view the replica Notre Dame Cathedral
and the majestic Post Office building. You will
also be taken to the War Remnants Museum,
a chilling yet captivating encounter (optional).
The evening is free to spend at leisure to further
explore or to simply relax. Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to your
hotel. Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and take a walking
tour of the city. Early French occupation has left
some wonderful and historic buildings. You’ll
also be given the opportunity to head to the War
Remnants Museum.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City (B)
After breakfast, travel to the Cu Chi Tunnels
approximately 70km from Ho Chi Minh City.
Spread over 250km, the tunnels were used by
the Viet Cong during their fight with the American
forces. See how they lived underground with
your own opportunity to experience crawling
through if you wish. On the return to Ho Chi
Minh City visit a lacquer ware workshop to learn
how this wonderful, highly polished art is made.
The afternoon is spent at leisure to shop or stroll
the boulevards.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City (B)
This morning, explore the city by a traditional
cyclo, a three-wheeled bicycle taxi. Sit back and
relax as your experienced cyclo driver pedals
you through the streets. Lively culture awaits
this evening with a choice of either a Street Food
Tour or a Vespa Foodie Tour. The street food
tour allows you to discover and sample authentic
Vietnamese flavours in an unforgettable walking
experience, whilst the Vespa tour is a unique
food tour where you can sit back, relax and be
a passenger on the most famous scooter in the
world, sampling food along the way!
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Today encounters an early morning start
as you journey to the Cu Chi Tunnels. Gain an
insight into the history of the tunnels and how
they were used during the American War. At its
height the tunnel system stretched over 250km
from Ho Chi Minh City to the Cambodian border
and was three levels deep.
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City (B) Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Today tour arrangements end upon check out
from your hotel. Spend the day at leisure. Opt for shopping
at Ben Thanh Market, take a leisurely stroll
along the riverfront or add on a Mekong Delta
day tour, a labyrinth of waterways with floating
villages and cottage industries.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Rise early to capture the magic of Ho Chi
Minh City coming to life. Walk around downtown
stopping for a traditional style coffee before
heading to the produce section of Ben Thanh
Market. Return to your hotel for breakfast, after
which you will depart the city bound for Cu
Chi Tunnels - the myriad of underground war
passageways will amaze you.
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta (B, L, D)
Leave the city behind and travel to the Mekong
Delta. Stop en-route to visit the intricate Cao
Dai Temple. On arrival at Cai Be board a private
boat and explore the small estuaries. Here you
will see typical Mekong Delta rural life. Late
afternoon, arrive at a local guesthouse on the
riverbank. Help prepare dinner or cycle along
the village paths. Accommodation is basic; some
with shared rooms and stretcher type beds, but
the experience is magical.
Day 4: Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh City (B)
After breakfast visit a local brick kiln and a
floating village. Explore the local markets before
the drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Today transfer to Ho Chi Minh City Airport
