guided tour to learn about the Agua Caliente Cahuilla (pronounced Kaw-
we-ah) Indians who settled in the Palm, Murray, Andreas, Tahquitz and
Chino Canyons. Once you arrive to the top, you’ll enjoy panoramic views
of Palm Springs and the entire Coachella Valley.
How about some golf? Palm Springs has over 120 golf courses. Enjoy a

Buzz – An easy way to cruise the Palm Springs area. The city’s free
trolley service operates Thursday-Sunday and makes it easy to get around
downtown and uptown Palm Springs with over 30 stops.
Mid-Century Modern Architecture – Palm Springs has one of the
largest concentrations of mid-century modern architecture in the country.

desert’s most notable architecture in downtown Palm Springs.
Palm Springs Air Museum – The Palm Springs Air Museum houses
one of the nation’s largest collection of World War II aircraft. The Buddy
Rodgers Theatre shows daily documentaries about aviation in the military
with an emphasis on World War II.
Indian Canyons and Tahquitz Canyon – These canyons have more than
160 kilometres of trails along streams, ancient palm groves and stunning
canyons with lovely views and outdoor adventure.

Coachella – This annual music and arts festival is held every April over
two weekends and attracts some of the biggest names in the music
industry.
Joshua Tree National Park – In about an hours drive you’ll be at the
rugged rock formations and stark desert landscapes of Joshua Tree
National Park. Named for the region’s twisted, bristled Joshua trees, the
park straddles the cactus-dotted Colorado Desert and the Mojave Desert.
