Lake Crossing- Puerto Varas to Bariloche 2 days / 1 night
The Lake Crossing is a perfect way to combine neighbouring countries of Chile and Argentina. Embark on this crossing by boat and bus, also spending a night in Peulla, a small village amongst the mountains and lakes. Allow yourself time to truly appreciate the awe-inspiring natural surroundings in which two equally beautiful nations share.
Day 1: Puerto Varas – Peulla Depart from Puerto Varas to Petrohue, bordering Llanquihue Lake. Enjoy breath-taking sights of Osorno and Calbuco Volcanoes. Visit Vicente Perez National Park to see the Petrohue Falls, an impressive volcanic rock formation covered by emerald green water. Onwards to Todos Los Santos, where you set sail and navigate to Peulla, a stunning settlement amongst the mountains. Overnight in Peulla.
Day 2: Bariloche Continue the lakes crossing by boat before boarding a bus to Puerto Frias and enter Argentina. Crossing the Andes Mountains, you will alternate between boat and bus through beautiful towns and landscapes to reach‘ The Argentinean Tourism City’, San Carlos de Bariloche. Your travel arrangements will end upon arriving into Bariloche.
