Day 1-2: Kuala Lumpur
These two days are dedicated to discovering and exploring many of the
top cultural and historical sights in the city. Day 1-4: Kuala Lumpur
Be immersed in KL’s vibrant Chinese scene with the start of your
Petaling Street Heritage Food Trail. Try a hands-on cooking experience
that will have you licking your fingers in no time as you partake in a wok
course in the jungle outside of Kuala Lumpur. You are what you eat and
what better way to see how it applies to KL-ites than by getting to know
them – and their food, of course – with a full day Kuala Lumpur lifestyle
and culture trail.
Day 3: Kuala Lumpur – Malacca
Drive through verdant countryside dotted with villages to reach Malacca.
In the afternoon, begin an orientation tour.
Day 4: Malacca – Kuala Lumpur
Start your day with a gentle sightseeing cruise up the Malacca River,
followed by a trishaw ride. Depart back to Kuala Lumpur.
Day 5: Kuala Lumpur – Cameron Highlands
Take to the road with a stunning scenic drive to the Cameron Highlands.
The highlands are a resort area and are renowned for their rolling
countryside and tea plantations.
Day 6: Cameron Highlands
Today enjoy a leisurely scenic tour of the Cameron Highlands.
Day 7: Cameron Highlands – Penang
Depart for Penang, driving along a scenic route. Cross the 13.5 kilometre
long Penang Bridge and head towards the historic Georgetown.
Day 8-9: Penang
Enjoy an orientation tour of Georgetown followed by time at leisure. The
next day, tour arrangements end at Penang Airport.
Day 5: Kuala Lumpur – Penang
Today head towards the charming island of Penang.
Day 6: Penang
Considered the culinary capital of Malaysia, embark on a Heritage and
Traditional Food Trail of Penang.
Day 7: Penang
Today cook up a storm at the amazing Tropical Spice Garden with a four
hour cookery class.
Day 8: Penang
Embark on a fascinating tour that focuses on Georgetown’s Peranakan
heritage and a rather more modern and unusual addition to its cultural
scene.
Day 9: Penang
