Experience a diversity of famous Australian landscapes including the
must-see Uluru, the Twelve Apostles and Great Barrier Reef. Icons of
Australia is a must-do for anyone wanting to experience the truest and
best of Australia.
Day 1: Melbourne – Kangaroo Island
Fly by private aircraft ‘low and slow’ along the spectacular Victorian
coastline of the Great Ocean Road, past the famous Twelve Apostles, to
Kangaroo Island in South Australia.
Day 2: Kangaroo Island – Coober Pedy
Visit one of Kangaroo Island’s most famous attractions – 500 strong Sea
Lion colony at Seal Bay. Transfer to Kingscote Airport where your private
aircraft awaits for the onward flight to Coober Pedy and overnight at a
unique Desert Cave Hotel.
Day 3: Coober Pedy – Uluru
Tour Coober Pedy’s most famous attraction – the fascinating Umoona
Mine. Fly to the spiritual heart of Australia – Uluru and experience a
special ‘Sounds of Silence’ dinner under the starry sky with the imposing
Uluru monolith as the back drop.
Day 4: Uluru – Alice Springs
Join a guide for a ground tour of Kata Tjuta. Fly ‘low and slow’ over Kata
Tjuta, Uluru and along the West MacDonnell Ranges to Alice Springs.
Day 5: Alice Springs – Cairns
Visit Anzac Hill for a bird’s eye view of Alice Springs and then on to the
spectacular Standley Chasm in the West MacDonnell Ranges.
Day 6: Cairns – Great Barrier Reef – Cairns
Board a catamaran to a large floating platform located at a pristine reef
on the outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef. Spend the day snorkelling or
coral viewing from a glass bottom boat.
Day 7: Cairns – Kuranda Scenic Railway – Onward Flights
This morning ride the Kuranda Scenic Railway, one of the most stunning
and unique rail journeys in Australia. Following a final lunch together,
travel by coach back to Cairns Airport for your onward flight.
