Starting in Bundaberg enjoy a stop to sample the famous Bundaberg
Rum. Then head to the relaxed atmosphere of Bargara for a beachfront
dinner on the Esplanade.

Day 2: Bargara
Spend a day travelling your way up the coast to the town of 1770 and
Agnes Waters. Enjoy the picturesque seaside towns and perhaps a sunset
cruise aboard the LARC.

Farewell Rockhampton with a stop at the Capricorn Caves. Unlock
the secrets of these spectacular limestone caves before you return to
Bundaberg.

Head to Gladstone and launch to Heron Island, a very special Southern
Great Barrier Reef resort stay awaits you, a coral cay island that’s home

Travel to Rockhampton and choose your accommodation and stay
along the banks of the mighty Fitzroy River. Indulge in a great steak or
crocodile pie in the ‘Beef Capital’ of Australia.

Highlights worth seeing along the way
Bundaberg – Get an exclusive taste of the Spirit of Australia at the
Bundaberg Rum Bondstore.
Bargara – The Bargara coastline is a holiday maker’s dream, with a
climate similar to that of the Hawaiian Islands and beautiful beaches to
explore.
Agnes Water Beach – This unspoilt haven is one hours’ drive south
of Gladstone and is definitely worth a visit. This beach is famous for its
scenic surroundings, surfing, kitesurfing and stand-up paddle boarding.
Mon Repos – Each year from November to March you can see Turtles
nesting and hatching on the beach at night, this an experience to
remember.
