Every year from July to October the serene
islands of Ha’apai provide a safe haven for one
of Mother Nature’s most captivating creations -
the majestic Humpback whales. They are often
spotted from a boat, and if you’re a thrill-
seeker why not get into the water and get up
close and personal with these visitors. There’s
a vast array of interesting behaviour that may
be witnessed - from a single breath, graceful
spyhop or powerful tail slaps to continual
full body breaching or inquisitive approaches
to the boat – this can be a truly life changing
experience and one that relatively few people
will ever get the chance to enjoy. Climb onboard your own powered kayak
and your experienced guide will lead you on
your water adventure to some of the most
stunning places in the kingdom. You’ll explore
uninhabited islands, caves, blowholes, striking
coral reefs, white sand beaches and see some
of the best kept secrets in Vava’u. This is a fun
and exhilarating way to spend time on the
water offering ultimate freedom and it’s simple
to use, easy to control and has incredible
manoeuvrability. Be sure to keep your eyes
open as you may encounter a whale or two
( July to October). You can target one or many species, in all
cases you’ll have great fishing onboard the
reliable and very successful ‘Target One’, an
eight and a half metre game and sportfishing
boat. Skipper Henk and his experienced
deckhand will make sure you have a great day
out on the water, whether you are a novice
or an experienced angler. The boat is well
equipped and maintained with top quality
tackles and lures. Henk and his crew have set
many local and national sportfishing records
so they know the best fishing spots and can
have you out there in no time at all – you’re
sure to have a fishing experience of a lifetime.
At this resort you can snorkel straight off
the white sandy beach into an abundance
of colourful reef and fish!
