Loyalty Islands Accommodation
Oasis de Kiamu, Lifou
1
Affordable, away from it all, and ideal for families, this small resort is
nestled among coconut trees at the base of a cliff, just a few steps from
a sandy cove. It offers friendly service and great value, and there’s
just 14 rooms in all, so you’ll never feel crowded. There’s a bar, pool
and restaurant, and airport transfers are provided. Settle into Lifou’s
gentle way of life and enjoy days spent on the lagoon, or exploring the
delightful scenery - you’ll love it.
Drehu Village, Lifou
If the idea of a boutique resort on a remote and beautiful island sounds
like you, take a close look at what’s on offer here. Lifou is the largest
of the Loyalty group, just 40 minutes by air from Noumea, and Drehu
Village is a tranquil little group of semi-detached and stand-alone
bungalows on magnificent Chateaubriand Bay. There’s a bar, pool and
restaurant, plus a range of water sports. Also be sure to make time for a
visit to Lifou’s dramatic cliffs while you’re there.

Nengone Village, Maré
Maybe you’ve never heard of Maré (pronounced Ma-ray) and its many
charms, but once you’ve been to this lovely island, you won’t forget
it. Nengone Village is a hidden treasure on its south coast, set by a
dazzling white cove and sheltered by pines and palms. Enjoy the water
sports, explore the island’s dramatic scenery, or just laze by the beach
in this true holiday haven. It’s only 35 minutes by air from Noumea and
accommodation is in attractive, individual bungalows.

Hotel Le Paradis D’Ouvéa, Ouvéa
4
Elegant, avante-garde Le Paradis is officially the only hotel on Ouvéa
and it certainly is paradise – though in fact it’s on the tiny, tropical islet
of Mouli! Mouli is connected to the larger island by bridge, but it’s a
world apart. The setting is dream-like, with sands white enough to dazzle
you and sea, a clear, aquamarine blue. Relaxation is the prime activity
here, or you can hire a scooter and explore. There’s plenty to see in this
beautiful corner of the world.
