Hotel Beaurivage is great value for money . It ’ s chic , contemporary and right on the promenade of the lovely Baie des Citrons – a top location , with excellent swimming across the road . The area is one of the most popular dining destinations for Noumean locals , and there ’ s good shopping here too , including some of Europe ’ s best known brands . Central Noumea is a short bus-ride away , and the hotel itself has a beach restaurant .
All rooms here have free WiFi and are fully air-conditioned , with ample amenities . With the clear lagoon across the road you ’ ll have the biggest pool in the South Pacific to enjoy . Boats and windsurfers are not allowed close to this beach , so you ’ ll have a peaceful time in the water .

Standing on the shores of a tiny , palm-fringed island , surrounded by a 200 hectare marine reserve , it offers total relaxation . Here , the hardest thing you ’ ll have to do all day is decide when to reapply the sunblock , or when to take your next swim .
There are three types of accommodation , but for maximum romance choose a thatched , overwater bungalow . These spacious bungalows have balconies that face the setting sun , and a flight of steps leading straight into the blue waters of the lagoon . If you prefer to keep your feet on dry land , there are garden and beachside bungalows offering excellent amenities in a beautiful setting .
