Vancouver
Ski or snowboard in the morning, play golf or go kayaking in the afternoon,
Vancouver’s location between the Pacific Ocean and the Rocky Mountains makes
all this possible and also ensures that the city regularly features among the most
liveable cities in the world. With Mother Nature on your front doorstep it’s no wonder
Vancouver abounds with outdoor activities from sailing to hiking the Grouse Grind
Mountain Trail just 20 minutes from the city. But, as British Columbia’s largest
city, Vancouver is also a sophisticated centre of arts, shopping and entertainment.
Explore farmers markets, exotic Chinatown with its apothecary shops, or spot the
stars and smell the coffee on trendy Robson Street.
Our favourite things to see and do
Market Experience – Head to Granville Island to check
out the amazing market. For any self-confessed foodie a
chef-guided culinary market tour is a must.
Capilano Suspension Bridge – Not for the faint-
hearted! Cross the 70 metre high bridge and explore the
Treetops Adventure nearby. For an extra thrill take a walk
along the structurally amazing Cliffwalk, high above the
Capilano River.
Flyover Canada – The best way to see all of Canada
without leaving your seat. An amazing 4D experience that
will fly you from the East Coast to the West Coast of Canada
over all four seasons .
Aquabus – An easy and fun way to head across to Granville
Island and the inner part of False Creek and Yaletown.

Stanley Park – So close to the city and a great place to
relax and enjoy nature. The flat, paved path around the park
is 10 kilometres in length and circles the entire park. Walk,
cycle, run or even rollerblade.
Gastown – Experience the charm of historic Vancouver,
born in 1867. Visit fashion shops, galleries, restaurants or
experience the nightlife. A visit to the food market is well
worth it.

Grouse Mountain – Only 20 minutes from downtown
Vancouver and a favourite for skiers and snowboarders. In
the summer visit the grizzly bear refuge and the viewPOD.
Shopping – There are so many places to shop in
Vancouver. For the serious shopper you want Robson
and Alberni Streets. Then there is Metrotown, the biggest
shopping mall in BC with 500+ shops.
