Diving & Surfing Surf Bali Bali Diving 5 days/4 nights 5 days/4 nights No need for wetsuits here, grab your boardies and hit the waves. With water temperatures ranging between 26-28 degrees all year round and swells reaching up to 12 foot, Bali is a surfers dream. Head south from Kuta and explore the Bukit Peninsular, where the beaches are beautiful, waves are pumping and the locals are friendly. If you wish to explore some world-class diving, then Bali should definitely be on your travel agenda. Experience a great introduction to Bali's underwater life at the eastern tip of the island. Here is home to hundreds of fish species, coral and the famous USAT Liberty Wreck, an ideal diving site for any experience level. Day 1-2: Kuta – Jimbaran Bay Head south stopping at Kuta Reef for fast, powerful barrels. This evening head out for a famous seafood dinner at Jimbaran Bay with more than 30 restaurants to choose from. Check out Rock Bar, perched 14m above the waves, for sunset cocktails, exceptional views and world-class DJs. Day 1: Bali Airport/Hotel – Candidasa Journey to the small seaside town of Candidasa for a relaxing day of leisure. Day 3: Jimbaran Bay – Padang Padang Beach Start at Balangan Beach, here you’ll find minimal crowds and a long, left hand ride. Onto the famous Dreamland Beach, 100m of white sand and long regarded for its killer surf waves. The final surf of the day is the ever consistent Bingin Beach, with world class waves and limited crowds. Day 4: Padang Padang Beach – Uluwatu Surf the “Balinese Pipeline” of Padang Padang Beach before heading to the legendary surf spot, Uluwatu. Known for its consistent good quality surf, a variety of breaks and great conditions throughout the day. Beware, these waves should only be surfed by experienced surfers. Day 5: Uluwatu – Nusa Dua Stop at Nyang Nyang beach with a 600 step journey, this secret spot is a must see. Next is Green Bowl, totally unspoilt where you may even get the waves all to yourself. End at Pandawa Beach, a beautiful one kilometre stretch of beach hidden behind large carved limestone cliffs. Grab a bite to eat at one of the local warungs before ending your journey in Nusa Dua. Day 2: Candidasa – Tulamben Today head to Pasir Putih, one of Bali’s beautiful hidden beaches and used for the movie “Eat, Pray, Love” before making your way to Tirta Gangga. Boasting many decorative ponds and fountains with lush plant life and natural bathing pools. Day 3: Diving Tulamben It's time for your first dive around the USAT Liberty Wreck, an old US Army cargo ship that was torpedoed by a Japanese submarine in 1942. In the evening you will have the chance to do a night dive, or just relax and indulge in a traditional Balinese massage. Day 4: Tulamben – Sanur Start your day with a morning dive before tucking into a beautiful sunrise breakfast. Jump in for another dive before heading back to the south of Bali, passing through rice paddy fields. Day 5: Sanur Your arrangements end after a sumptuous breakfast.
