Uganda & Rwanda Blend 8 days / 7 nights
The perfect itinerary to combine the best of Uganda & Rwanda. Time is allocated for trekking on both sides along with chimpanzee trekking, and some incredible game viewing in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Day 1: Kigali Arrive into Kigali Airport and transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Volcanoes National Park After breakfast, take a city tour of Kigali, including a visit to the Genocide Museum. The museum was opened in 2004, the 10th anniversary of the start of Rwanda’ s genocide, and is now expanding into an internationally significant site with a dedicated school of education. After lunch drive to Volcanoes National Park and to Mountain Gorilla View Lodge which is located close to the park gates, for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Volcanoes National Park – Kigali The highlight of your trip is to trek for gorillas in Volcanoes National Park. Spend the morning trekking and searching for gorilla families, learning first hand the lives led by these endangered species. In the afternoon we return to Kigali for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Kigali Transfer to Kigali Airport where your tour arrangements end.

Day 1: Entebbe Arrive into Entebbe Airport and transfer to the local airstrip for your scheduled flight to Kihihi Airstrip. From here we drive to Bwindi for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Spend the morning trekking deep in the Bwindi forest and observing gorilla families. Overnight in Buhoma Lodge.
Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park Optional second gorilla trek. Alternatively take a Bwindi forest walk or visit the local village for some curio shopping. This afternoon drive to Ishasha, the southern region of Queen Elizabeth National Park, for an overnight stay.
Days 4-5: Queen Elizabeth National Park The next two days are committed to exploring Queen Elizabeth National Park, boasting one of the highest bio-diversity ratings of any national park in the world. Spot many different kinds of animals, along with various primate species. Search the trees above, they are known to be resting places for tree climbing lions!
Day 6: Entebbe After breakfast transfer to Kihihi Airstrip for your flight back to Entebbe.

Day 1: Entebbe Arrive into Entebbe Airport and transfer to The Boma Hotel for an overnight stay.
Days 2-3: Queen Elizabeth National Park Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park to check in to the luscious Ishasha Wilderness Camp. Spend two glorious nights in this unspoilt and remote wilderness. Enjoy sumptuous meals every day and take part in daily activities including game drives, village visits, or relax in your luxury tent to absorb the surroundings.
Days 4-5: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park After breakfast take a three hour drive to Bwindi. Two nights are spent at the cosy Buhoma Lodge, where you’ re surrounded by an immaculate tropical rainforest. Your gorilla trekking opportunities start here.
Day 6: Volcanoes National Park After checking out of Buhoma Lodge, set off to cross the border into Rwanda. An overnight stay at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge will have beautiful views of the neighbouring volcanoes ready for you to enjoy.
Day 7: Kigali Prepare for another gorilla trek opportunity. This afternoon drive to Kigali for an overnight stay at Kigali Serena Hotel.
Day 8: Kigali Transfer to Kigali Airport for your onward flight and the end of arrangements.
