The Winelands Robben Island
Take a half or full day tour on a scenic drive
away from Cape Town and through the
wine tasting areas of Paarl, Stellenbosch and
Franschhoek. Enjoy several stops to sample the

vineyards. From the 17th-20th centuries, Robben Island
served as a place of banishment, and for
17 years it was home to Nelson Mandela.
Today it is a World Heritage Site, national
museum and a reminder of the price paid for
