Finding somewhere to live off campus that’s right
for you is an important decision. We know that
where you live and who you live with can have
a big impact on your studies, as well as your
finances. There’s no need to rush your decision,
there’s plenty of student accommodation within the
Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stoke-on-Trent areas.
This short guide details the main areas close to
Keele, whilst offering some top tips to help you find
the right accommodation for you, before you sign
any legally binding contract.
We can offer advice on a range of accommodation
issues, which include: campus accommodation,
maintenance issues, off-campus accommodation;
where to live and local properties and knowledge
about the area.

● ● We host regular drop in sessions in the
Student Accommodation Office - come along
and ask any questions about your search for
off campus housing. Drop in sessions:
Every Wednesday 2:00pm – 4:00pm
(Barnes Y Reception).
● ● We list student friendly, accredited properties
that you can browse online at
keelestudentpad.co.uk
● ● Visit our stand at the Housing Fair in the
Students’ Union every January.
● ● You can ask any questions, meet with
landlords and make appointments to view
properties. For more information,

you with independent advice on deposits,
inventories, landlord/tenant disputes, unfair
terms in housing contracts and more.
