What has been the most difficult thing you had to endure on the journey to success?
Most difficult part of being an artists can be put in many ways such as, people say that there
are affluent amount of rappers but there is alot of promoters, who came out the blue trying to
get us indie artists to pay thousands upon thousand of dollars for promotion which 99% of
the time is bogus, also us artists have to pay from $25 to $1000 to get one track on a mixtape.
With no guarantee of success from that. The money that goes in to promoting a show is very
expensive. Finance is the most difficult thing in music especially for independent artists. You
must first be a better entrepreneur as almost than being a rapper.
You also have a song called “Trapp Starr” has trapping been part of your life at some point and
how is trapping like the music industry?
“My hunger is my inspiration”
Trapping was a part of my life as early as 12 and music is just like being a street entrepreneur,
except now I’m selling words and my verses has become my new brick.
After the “throne is mine” drops what’s next? Can we see you hopefully
touring or keep the streets blazing with your firey tracks.
After the throne is mine I plan to continue grinding and keep recording fire tracks for the
streets. especially for the people looking to hear something different but most importantly
genuine. Follow me on all social site @Drebook.
