Do you write all your own materialand why do you feel CV people connect with it so well? Yes, I do write my own material but I do get input from colleagues within the group as well as fans and friends. People identify with my brand of comedy because the stories I tell are stories about how Cape Verdean people live in their everyday lives. Its real life and very relatable.   How do you deal with hecklers(people who teaseyou from the audience), do they bother you or just is it part of the job? I react normally. In this profession/at these shows there are all types of people and we have to keep the spirit of the occasion light and be tolerant.  Beside stand up comedy I’ve noticed you also do acting, how is that going for you?  It is going well. Thanks to my family and friends I am very pleased with my career.   Which do you enjoy more, acting or live audience? I like them both but live shows for me bring a different type of joy, principally because a live audience gives you a certain energy and they vibe with you.  Are there any American comedians you admire and do you ever try incorporate any thing they do into your act? Yes, there are a few. For example Eddie Murphy and Will Smith. “I liked them equally I felt love from the public everywhere I went”
