SPRINGER-MILLER PARTNERS WITH OPENKEY Hospitality management systems provider Springer-Miller Systems announced its integration with OpenKey , a universal mobile key technology for hotels . Properties within Springer-Miller ’ s SMS | Host property management system portfolio will have upgraded access to OpenKey ’ s technology . The OpenKey app enables hotel staff to control guestroom access remotely and allows guests to use their smartphones for mobile entry into their rooms .

HOSTELCO 2018 GROWS WITH SECTOR According to show organizers , Hostelco will be larger in 2018 as a result of innovation , internationalization and rising domestic demand and tourism . Exhibition space will be 20 % greater than the 2016 show . The Spanish trade fair , organized by Fira de Barcelona and the Spanish Federation of Associations of Equipment Manufacturers for the Hospitality and Related Industries , will take place from April 16 to 19 , 2018 , in Barcelona , Spain . For the first time , the show will coincide with the International Food and Drinks Exhibition , Alimentaria .
