Gordon Ramsay Steak at Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino includes a 30-ft ( 9-m ) domed ceiling painted with an image inspired by the Union Jack and adorned with a hand-blown , red neon sculpture that conceptually interprets the motion of Ramsay ’ s hands cooking .

As hotel restaurants increase in prominence , many are commanding big-name chefs to take the helm . Slated to open in December , Dorado Beach , A Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Puerto Rico will feature a restaurant by acclaimed Spanish chef José Andrés , which will also sport interior design by Adam Tihany . Andrés ’ menu will unite the island ’ s “ cocina criolla ” cuisine with Spanish flavors as well as nuances of American cooking .
“ My vision is to create a menu that tells the story of this fascinating region ,” Andrés promises .
This past May , The St . Regis Mexico City premiered J & G Grill , a Jean-Georges Vongerichten concept , that offers a selection of the notable chef ’ s greatest dishes from his restaurants worldwide with hints of Mexican cuisine , as in a grilled New York strip with a sautéed corn , jalapeno and lime topping .
And what better venue than Vegas for boisterous celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay ? His
Gordon Ramsay Steak opened at Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino this past summer . Highlights of the interior by EDG Architecture + Design include a 30-ft ( 9-m ) domed ceiling painted with an image inspired by the Union Jack and adorned with a hand-blown , red neon sculpture by Swon Design of Toronto that conceptually interprets the motion of Ramsay ’ s hands cooking . “ We tried to interpret and capture Chef Ramsay ’ s vivacious personality ,” notes EDG Senior Designer Catharine Tarver .
