Villeroy & Boch announced that the W Hotel Shanghai chose customized Artesano tableware for its hotel catering operations . The tableware coordinates with the black tiles of the hotel ’ s façade . Various colors illuminate a cubist pattern , complementing the W Hotel Shanghai ’ s modern , metropolitan style . The hotel also uses Villeroy & Boch ’ s Artesano Professionale and Artesano Barista collections , as well as Marchesi and Stella Hotel .
ALTO-SHAAM DONATES US $ 135K TO FIGHT CANCER Foodservice equipment manufacturer Alto-Shaam is donating a record US $ 135,000 to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society ’ s Wisconsin chapter following its ninth annual Jerry Maahs Memorial Golf Outing , held August 12 at the Ironwood Golf Course in Sussex , Wisconsin . Each year the event memorializes Alto-Shaam founder Jerry Maahs , who passed away after battling non-Hodgkin ’ s lymphoma . The donation helps fund a research grant that supports a portfolio of research efforts dedicated to advancing treatments for the disease .
