Mady , general manager of The Beverly Hills Hotel and West Coast regional director for Dorchester Collection , is a student and scientist of hospitality management , honed by years working in the stratosphere of luxury hoteldom at places like The Ritz-Carlton – where he helped the company win an unprecedented two Baldrige awards – and the Helmsley Palace , where , as he puts it , “ I learned what not to do as a leader , and for that knowledge I am grateful .”
Another thing they have in common : Neither is planning on retiring any time soon . They still have plenty to learn and plenty to accomplish . We look forward to seeing what they tackle next .
