RLHC LAUNCHES MOBILE APP
Red Lion Hotels Corporation ( RLHC ) is working with MyCheck , a mobile payment platform provider , to enable digital wallet and mobile payment functionality for its new mobile app , Hello Rewards . The partnership will give loyal customers and guests an on- and off-property mobile experience touching on reservations , check-in , the hotel folio , ordering room service , paying in hotel restaurants and check-out . Loyalty members can store multiple payment methods in the app via the MyWallet feature . MyPOS manages the integration to the hotel POS system , which allows guests to view room service menus , place orders directly from their smartphones , and view , split and pay their hotel restaurant bill directly from their phones .

IRIS SOFTWARE SYSTEMS RAISES US $ 8.48 MILLION
A mobile guest experience platform for the hospitality industry , iRiS Software Systems closed its Series A investment round , raising £ 6.5 million ( US $ 8.48 million ) led by U . S . investor JMI Holdings . The funding from JMI Holdings and other investors will allow the company to increase its international scale and broaden and accelerate product development of its mobile digital platform solutions for hotel , healthcare and F & B industries . The company also appointed Roger Taylor as executive chairman . Taylor recently led the transformation and exit of Quadriga Worldwide .
