Graduate Charlottesville ' s design team was inspired by the city ' s preppy style . Guestooms feature a warm , subdued color palette of pine green , rose , cream and burgandy .

“ We try to design for the locals because we want the locals to use our spaces as a community living room ,” Alford says . “ If there are local people hanging out at our hotels , our guests will have an opportunity meet the real community . Hopefully , friendships and memorable experiences come out of that .”
Expected ADR for Graduate Charlottesville in the first year of operation is US $ 185 with a 68.9 % occupancy rate .
