HIGHLIGHT : A chrome-based custom communal table topped with white Corian incorporates multiple height levels , which separate the continuous surface into more personal dining areas . Chrome chairs match the varying heights of the table .

HIGHLIGHT : A wall uses cracks in the stone to create an abstract painting to complement a buffet table made of rough stone and ice brick that resembles the Yulong Glacier .

HIGHLIGHT : Original architectural details for the 1863 Bowery building have been preserved — evidenced in the columns , brick walls and fl oors — while salvaged materials such as repurposed stable spindles and nickel-plated barn tacks contribute a rustic equine theme .

HIGHLIGHT : The restaurant ’ s iconic teak ceiling was retained and modifi ed , but everything else is new — from an onyx-wrapped bar with mother-of-pearl tile in the lounge to the metal and climbing vine curtains .
